On a typical night patrol, Minogue and O'Leary get to the bottom of a series of mysterious curses while Officer Parker gets a new partner.

Description

The fifth episode of the fourth season of the series is called "Who the Hell?" (orig. "Who the Hell").

In this episode, Satan meets again, shown in the "Christmas Special".

Plot

During a night patrol, police officers Minogue and O'Leary investigate a series of mysterious incidents. They discover that Satan forces people to sell their souls in exchange for the quick (and not quite accurate) fulfillment of their cherished desires. O'Leary forces Satan to remove the curses imposed on people by winning a card game from him. Meanwhile, Sergeant Maake has to deal with a poltergeist who spoils the map of the city at the police station.

Officer Parker gets a new partner, Constable Sainsbury, whose twin brother turns out to be a member of a squad of armed criminals. The police take part in a night operation, during which Sainsbury is in mortal danger.

The evil eye, curses and corruption

People who have sold their souls to Satan in exchange for small services become cursed. So, a man who wanted to become a "damn cool rocker" can't stop playing guitar, and he is surrounded by crowds of female fans. A woman who wanted to "throw off an ugly 5 kilograms" loses her head, although her body and head continue to live separately.

Poltergeist

Sergeant Maaka encounters poltergeist manifestations at the police station: pins on the map spontaneously change location, sometimes forming threats or a pentagram. This is due to the activity in the city of Satan, who came from hell to buy up human souls..

A mystical creature with hooves and its tracks

Satan looks exactly the same as in earlier episodes: he has huge horns, red skin, sharp claws on his hands and disproportionately small goat legs. This time he comes to our world to force people to sell their souls in exchange for small services. He fulfills his part of the deal very ironically, and people don't get what they originally wanted (or get literally what they wanted, but not what they meant).

Satan owns a dance club, does not disguise himself at all and easily enters into conversation with the police. He agrees to return the souls on the condition that he will be defeated in the game (he usually offers poker, but this time he is playing the board game "Who is this?", or rather its infernal counterpart "Who the hell?").

At the end of the episode, Satan disappears in clouds of stinking sulfur smoke.

Levitation

A man gains the ability to fly after he sells his soul to Satan. He cannot control this ability, so he has to carry a huge stone with him so as not to fly into the sky.
