Description

"Erotic Ghost Story" (Chinese: 聊齋艷譚; pinyin: "Liáo zhāi yàn tán") is a Category III Hong Kong erotic film.

The plot of the film is based on the stories of the Chinese writer of the Qing dynasty Pu Songlin, published in 1740 in the collection of classic short stories "Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio" ("Strange stories from a Chinese Studio").

The film was very popular at the time. It grossed tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars at the home box office and became Lan Naikai's highest-grossing directorial work in Hong Kong.

Plot

This is a story about three fox-sister spirits who have acquired a human form. Helping the hapless scientist, the trinity finds lustful thoughts about him, which almost immediately come to life. However, the sisters soon find out that a dangerous demon is hiding under the face of the scientist, preventing them from passing the Taoist ordeal and gaining immortality in human form.

Kitsune

Three fox sisters lived for 1000 years and turned into people. To leave the human form and gain immortality, they need to meditate and observe Taoist principles for another 36 days.

The sisters have magic: they can turn into strarukh, cause a nuisance to people, restore order in the house in a matter of seconds, generate energy balls, and also fly.

Succumbing to lustful temptations, the sisters begin to grow fur again and see their animal appearance in the mirrors. To prevent the process from finally turning, they have to clear their minds again and defeat the demon.

Spirits

The demon god Wu Tong (also known as Wu Ming, Wu Chen, Wu Ye, Ming Che and Tong Ye) pretends to be a scientist Wu Ming in order to seduce the three fox sisters and prevent them from gaining immortality in human form. The demon needs the blood of young girls to stay young, beautiful and strong.

In his true form, Wu Tong is anthropomorphic, but has three ugly faces with glowing red eyes and huge claws on his hands. His blood is green.

The demon is capable of conjuring. He can bend both ordinary women and fox sisters to his will. Eating fruit, Wu Tong materializes the bones in the neighbor's mouth, and also awakens her strongest sexual desire. In addition, he creates an unusual glowing butterfly that is looking for a victim for him.

Witchcraft

The fox sisters have magic: they can turn into strarukh, cause a nuisance to people, restore order in the house in a matter of seconds, generate energy balls, and also fly. To defeat the demon, they make something similar to a voodoo doll out of dough. When the sisters beat her, bruises appear on the demon's body; when they pierce her with pins, wounds begin to gape in his body.

The demon is also capable of conjuring. He can bend both ordinary women and fox sisters to his will. Eating fruit, Wu Tong materializes the bones in the neighbor's mouth, and also awakens her strongest sexual desire. In addition, he creates an unusual glowing butterfly that is looking for a victim for him.

All supernatural creatures presented in the film can fly. The monk, in addition, knows how to teleport, slowly dissolving into thin air.
