Sirime

The spirit is a yokai from Japanese folklore, having an eye in place of the anus. Its name literally translates as "butt-eye".

The haiku poet and artist Yosa Buson (1716-1784) depicted sirime in many of his paintings dedicated to youkai, but this creature also appeared in drawings by other artists.

There is only one version of the legend about him. Allegedly, a certain samurai was following the road to Kyoto at night and suddenly heard someone asking him to stop and wait. Turning around, the samurai saw a man who had thrown off his clothes and showed him his ass, where instead of an anus there was a huge eye. When the eye opened, it glowed with a bright light. The samurai ran away in horror.

This is a variation of the legend of nopperabo, and sirime is considered a kind of nopperabo.

Ordinary noppabos surprise people by suddenly showing them a faceless face, smooth as an egg. Shimir types of neperables can present a double surprise, first showing a faceless face, then bending over and exposing their ass with an eyeball. Shirime has no bad intentions or evil intentions. He just thinks that surprising people is fun.
