Description

A spirit from Belarusian mythology, inclining a person to vagrancy.

It is believed that these are the restless souls of lonely drunks, exclusively women who died before reaching home.

Appears in the form of a very middle-aged woman with large breasts up to the navel. She doesn't have any clothes on, just a dirty rag that doesn't cover her dry, cracked body. Badiuli's face is ugly: bulging eyes, a short fleshy nose, thick drooping lips, hair knocked into a tangle.

Usually she hangs around the roads between the two cities, and closer to winter begins to look out for someone to attach herself to. And then he follows this man to settle in his house. From this moment on, all sorts of troubles begin for that. Desperate, a person begins to drink, burning through everything that he has earned for years.

To get rid of the badyulya, you need to clean up and wash the floor in the house yourself, and always on the threshold and in the hallway. It is best to do this in the late afternoon. Throw out the garbage and dirty water and pour it out of the neighborhood. Then, as they say, you can see with your own eyes the very badyulya that runs away, forgetting to hide her appearance in fright.
