In this place, hunters meet with the goblin. For example, A.M.Bronnikov from the village of Znamenka in the Chita region tells a story about his grandfather.

He was brave, he was not afraid of anyone, he went alone to the taiga to hunt a bear. And according to local belief, it was impossible to go hunting that day. Grandfather found a place, waited for night, determined the time by the stars, and sat down in an ambush.

At exactly midnight, the bushes crackled. The hunter raised his rifle. It became audible as if the bear was breaking, but no one was visible. The "footsteps" approached him, grandfather wanted to shoot, but his hands seemed to go numb. Then the invisible man roared with laughter, and a voice was heard: "What, can't you shoot? You can't kill me!" Wild laughter rang out again, and the bushes cracked again - the unknown creature was moving away. The man, neither alive nor dead, quickly rushed home.
