Yaroslavl Business Center

The Yaroslavl Hotel was built on the site of this administrative and office building at the beginning of Svobody Street in the XX century. It is believed that the hotel guests repeatedly heard voices and songs, the origin of which they could not explain. The hotel was built on the site of the Church of St. Vlasius, demolished in 1933. By tradition, there was a cemetery around the hotel. But that's not all. A thousand years ago, pagans lived on the Yaroslavl land. It was on the site of today's business center that the pagan temple of the god Veles was located in the past. Human sacrifices were offered here.
