The Witch's Cauldron

It is located north of Sigulda, in the Nurmizhsky Nature Reserve on the left bank of the river Dauda, near the farm "Daudas".

According to legends, witches used to gather for a sabbath in this place from time to time. The witch's cauldron (Raganu Katls) is a funnel hollowed out in a ravine by the waters of the Dauda and Veyupite rivers.

It is believed that anyone who has been in the Witch's cauldron is no longer afraid of anything - because he becomes immune to any sorcery.
