The Witch Tree

There is an old Willow tree growing in the Kolyshlei district, which is called the "Witch Tree", this giant is more than three hundred years old. Having such an age, the tree is perfectly preserved, because there is not a single dry branch on it.

According to an ancient belief, witchcraft dances were held near this green tree for all three hundred years. Locals say that even now you can see dancing ghosts here, but only on a full moon.
