Witch Forest

An unusual forest area is located in the Navlinsky district of the Bryansk region. There are many different legends about this place.

The peculiarity of the forest is that all the trees on this site have a bizarre shape, they are twisted and mutilated. It is still unknown why plants look like this.

Locals say that evil spirits often play pranks in this forest, cars stall, and "holes form in time." In this place, according to stories, people begin to lose their orientation, see strange lights, visions, get lost "in three pines", despite the fact that the place is easy to find and the road is clearly visible. Because of this, it is called the "prodigal place".
