Velesovo Lake

Velesovo Lake is located near the locality of Tarnovo (the river Tyrnitsa).
According to legends, there were mermaids in the lake. It is assumed that near the Veles Lake there was a temple to the god Veles, the patron saint of cattle.

Near Tarnovo there is an anomalous forest (Pyanolesye).
