Tukum Cluster

The place got its name after the city of Tukums, located about 65 kilometers west of Riga. The exact location of the anomalous zone itself is not reported in order to avoid attracting tourists and the risk of destruction of valuable artifacts.

According to the stories, the first mention of unusual events that took place in this area was recorded more than a century ago, back in 1895. The ethnographic expedition of Karlis Greenbergs noticed that there are legends in this region describing temporary anomalies and meetings with mysterious strangers. (About ten records of such content were found in the archives). 

A typical plot looks like this: after getting lost in the forest, a person walks along it for some time, according to his ideas, not for long, however, when he returns home, he discovers that several decades or even more have passed since his departure.
