The Terenins ' House

The ghost of a beautiful girl lives in the Terenins' house (the registry office, which is next to the city council).

The story is very old and sad. At the end of the XVIII century, a rich merchant Matvey Medyntsev built a house for his daughter Lyuba. She married Vasily Terenin, went on a honeymoon, on the way she had appendicitis, and she died of peritonitis. Now Lyuba comes at night to her house, in which she practically did not live, and walks here. Besides, after the girl's death, the house seemed to be cursed. No one lived in it for a long time. Heiresses died of any diseases, and heirs died in the war. People believed that Lyuba took away everyone who invaded her possessions.

By the way, this story is confirmed by the staff of the Museum of Local Lore. But none of them saw a ghost.
