Sudki Ravine

овраг Судки, Брянск, Bryanskaya oblast', Russian Federation

Description

One of the most mysterious places in Bryansk is the Sudka ravines. As eyewitnesses say, in the evening or in bad weather in the ravines you can meet the ghost of a huge dog. Locals associate this ghost with the events of the Second World War.

Researcher of paranormal phenomena, lecturer at Bryansk State University Pavel Shushkanov says:

In the Upper Sudka, located in the Sovetsky district, in the evening or in bad weather, you can meet the shadow of a huge dog. The ghost is quite real. Interestingly, the appearance of the dog is not remembered by anyone, everyone only talks about the blood-red eyes…

Usually a ghost dog initially sneaks after travelers, and when they cautiously accelerate their pace, rushes in pursuit. The phantom can even bite. But if you manage to reach the bridge, it disappears.

In these places, during the occupation, the fascists executed civilians. According to legend, one of the Germans had a Rottweiler, which the owner unleashed on those who tried to escape. The dog caught up with the fugitives and gnawed their throats… It is her ghost that now appears at the scene of the murders.
