It is rumored that flying saucers often land on the clearing, evil spirits appear, time and space are warped.

They say that once upon a time, sorcerers held a sabbath in this clearing and sacrificed people to their gods. Since then, the souls of those killed at night glow with lights. On the Day of the solstice, people disappear at this place and their further whereabouts are unknown.
