Shamonovskaya Mill

In Lipetsk, on Zegel Street, there is an old three-storey building built at the beginning of the twentieth century - the former Shamon mill. An unusual red brick house immediately stands out among typical high-rise buildings with platbands, carved cornices.

The founder of the mill is merchant Alexey Shamonov, whose name the building is named after. It was built in 1913, but now it is in an abandoned state. The ancient building seems to have been transferred to a modern city from another time, it attracts all lovers of mysticism and abandoned houses. Now the mill is an architectural monument of regional significance.

For what reason the place is considered mystical, it is difficult to say, but the locals shun it, saying that it is lost. There are also stories that there has been a fire in the barns more than once before.
