Ryazan County Zemstvo Hospital

The tower in the courtyard of the house at Gorky str., 15., the rest of the complex of the Ryazan county Zemsky hospital.

In the tower there was a manhole (now blocked), opening the way to the dungeons of the former hospital. They say that at night a dark figure appears there and walks around the tower, as if conducting an inspection, as its former head Alexander Gustavovich Smitten did.
