In ancient times, in order to get to Belgorod, residents of the village of Smorodinovo had to walk towards Pushkarny to the railway crossing, which was called the 44 kilometer. The train stopped here. The road was not so long. But there were incredible rumors about one section of the way. It was a steep descent from the mountain and the same steep climb up the mountain. 

And between the descent and the ascent there was a gap of a flat road - a beam, which bordered on one side with an overgrown pond. If someone returned home from the train late at night and went down into the beam, then a strong wind suddenly rose, which turned into a spinning column of air, it sucked in everything that came in its way. The man was losing his orientation, his feet seemed to grow to the ground.Many travelers disappeared forever.
