Puotila Estate

In the metropolitan area of Puotila there is an old estate of the same name, the history of which begins in the middle of the XVI century. There is not much information about it, but this place attracts tourists with mysterious stories.

It is known, for example, that there are ghosts here, and the manager of the restaurant located on the estate assures that he hears footsteps and rustles coming from the attic.

One of the versions of the origin of the poltergeist says that in 1712 a family died here from agonizing hunger.

According to another version, the ghost of Birgitta Jaegerhorn lives here - not knowing that her fiance died on the battlefield, she is still waiting to meet him and goes out for a walk in the park in the evenings.
