Prokhorov field

Many tourists and residents of the region admit that they have repeatedly become "witnesses" of the battle on the Prokhorovsky field. At dusk and at night, tanks that continue a long-standing battle are seen quite often. Eyewitnesses admit that they not only hear the volleys of guns, but also smell engine oil, gunpowder, heated metal, feel the heat from flaming nearby combat vehicles. 

The soldiers of the Red Army and the Wehrmacht who participated in the famous battle were also seen several times lingering in these places before dark.

According to Anna, a Kuryanka who went to Prokhorovka on an excursion in her own car and stayed late:

At some point, the sounds of a battle began to come from the twilight. I heard the roar of guns, the grinding of tracks. One of the fleeing soldiers seemed to have noticed me too. He stopped, and there was such a surprise on his face. I was confused myself. She asked, "What is your name?" and at the same moment the vision disappeared.

Warriors of more ancient times were also noticed on the so-called serif lines, the remains of ancient defensive structures.

Scientists say that due to the fact that the region was constantly located on the border of the ancient state and was constantly obliged to protect its borders, it is not surprising that almost the entire earth here is so soaked in blood that the souls of the dead are not always able to leave these edges.
