Plan de Salse Pavement

The Plan de Sales pavement is a limestone "pavement" formed from large flat blocks of rock (clites) in a place where pure limestone is weathered and there is no clay left necessary for soil formation.

In France, where this pavement of natural origin is located, folk legends attribute the merit in its creation to supernatural forces.
