Park "Yuzhny" ("Koziy")

Some time ago, this park was called "Goat", and then — "Summer", and only in the 70s it began to be called "Southern". It got its first name due to the fact that in the park residents of Peschanka and Alekseevka constantly drove goats out to graze. In the 60s and 70s it was called a Summer Park, then there was a small stage in the park for a summer cinema. In 2020, L.D. Kudryavtsev, the director of the Voronezhsintezkauchuk Plant for more than 33 years, was named after him.

This place made the city famous among ufologists (the so-called "Voronezh phenomenon" of 1989). On September 27 of this year, several schoolchildren witnessed the landing of a spherical unidentified flying object in the "Southern" Park and the exit of three-meter creatures from it. In addition, throughout the year, hundreds of residents of the city observed extraordinary UFO activity.

Currently, the park has been reconstructed. Playgrounds, bike paths, etc. appeared. The place in question is already quite difficult to find, as well as eyewitnesses of the event.

We were there before the reconstruction. Then the park was heavily overgrown in some places, and reorganization was carried out in some places. Interestingly, that large-scale event in the global sense happened once and quite locally, that there were quite a few eyewitnesses from the neighboring streets, and since then nothing so unusual has happened in these places, at least according to local residents.
