Parador de Cardona

This castle is the most important and largest medieval fortress in the whole of Catalonia

There is a legend about this building, which says that in the 11th century Viscount Cardona invited a Muslim prince to avoid conquest, this prince and the viscount's daughter fell in love when the viscount found out that he locked his daughter in the tower, now known as Torre de la Mignon, where she she died. It is said that she is now a ghost who visits room 712.
