The Palace of Noise

On Lenin Street in the center of our city there is a palace with stucco decorations. It houses the FSB Directorate for the Trans-Baikal Territory. It would seem that strict service does not tolerate fuss, there is no time for fun here.

But late residents of Chita, late in the evening, waiting for the last trolleybus at the stop opposite the building, sometimes observe flashes of light and flickering shadows in the windows of the palace.
