Olesky Castle

The ghost of a deceased monk is often seen under the castle walls. There are two legends about him:

• During his lifetime, the monk often visited the women of their local village under the cover of night. For this he was punished - immured in the walls of the castle without food and water. It is even rumored that his skeleton was found in the walls of the castle.
• one wandering monk rushed into the well. This scene took place in front of several thousand pilgrims. Despite the fact that the monk was a suicide, he was buried according to the Christian rite. But, his soul cannot find peace and still wanders around the earth, near the Olle Castle.
