Nikandrova deserts

One of the two officially recognized anomalous zones in the Northwest.

The present Nikandrovsky Monastery is located on the site of the destroyed one, founded in 1584. Chronomirages are often seen here.

From time to time, ghostly figures of ancient ghost monks are seen on the ruins (modern monks cannot be confused with them).
