Malovishersky district

Eyewitnesses say that hominoids were met in the area between the villages of Selishchi, Poddubye, Gornitskoye on the border of the Novgorod and Malovishersky districts, near the village of Malaya Vishera. Local residents of unusual forest inhabitants affectionately call "avdoshki".

As the local legend says, once upon a time, Baba Avdotya lived in the village of Selishchi. No one married her, because she was very strange. She couldn't live with people and went into the forest. She began to live in burrows. She lived for a year, lived for two, and then disappeared completely. One of the hunters saw her with a wild man covered with fur. They had hairy children, and they all went to Avdotya with their faces.
