The Louvre

Лувр, Париж, France

Description

There are legends about the Louvre about a lot of ghosts living in different parts of the huge building. The most famous are the stories about the ghost of a White Lady, a meeting with whom foreshadowed trouble for the reigning dynasty. However, no one has seen this ghost since the castle became a museum. But the legend of the ghost of Jeanne of Navarre (the mother of Henry IV, allegedly poisoned by Catherine de' Medici with kid gloves), lives to this day. According to legend, every year she silently glides towards the former chambers of her killer, passes through the wall and hides in them.

Our comments

Nothing resembling ghosts was captured in our photos. And in the same way, it may well be that they simply do not like the hustle and bustle of the day, and they prefer to appear in the empty corridors of the Louvre at night, when they can only be seen by museum employees.
