Lake "Swan"

Initially, the lake was filled with underground springs. In the mid-60s of the last century, the workers of the NGO "Electronics", which was located at the nearby stop "Serafimovich", decided to refine the space around the lake. So, paths were laid, the banks were rolled into concrete for reliability, benches were installed and a fountain for water purification and circulation was installed. The water no longer stagnated. There was a lake that became alive. Carp were launched into it, as well as several swans. In the 90s, the enterprise was far from a natural object, and the lack of supervision of the lake led to the fact that it began to bloom and stink constantly (the fountain stopped working). Garbage from people began to accumulate on the shores, fish with swans simply disappeared. In the early 2000s, they wanted to make a swimming pool for entertainment from a lake on Minsk. Instead of swans, small mechanical boats were launched. Only in 2011, the natural object began to be seriously cleaned and put in order. Tons of garbage, mud and silt were removed from the bottom. The fountain was restored, the water stopped stagnating, blooming and stinking. In turn, the authorities have also updated the park around the lake. And the most pleasant moment was the launch of several swans.

Near the Minskaya stop in the suffocating summer of 1972, residents of nearby houses saw a strong bluish glow of water in a reservoir called Swan Lake.
