Lake Seliger

Rumors that mysterious creatures live not only in Brosno, but also in Lake Seliger, first appeared in 2000.

Strange relict animals with long necks and tails have been reported. All eyewitnesses claimed that the monsters' heads were small compared to their massive bodies, and the limbs were described as "flipper-like".

In print, they even got the name "selizhasaurs" - after the Selizharovsky ples, where they were first seen. In some publications it was claimed that most often the creatures crawled ashore near the village of Pavlikha and even on the road from Pavlikha to Klimova Mountain.
