Lake Ladoga

This is one of the most amazing Russian reservoirs, about which numerous legends and myths are currently being composed.

Since the beginning of the twentieth century, locals have often heard sounds of unknown origin coming as if from under the water of Lake Ladoga in the area between the skeletons of Valaam and Konevets. The local name of this phenomenon is barrantids.

Local residents and ufologists say that UFOs have been repeatedly observed over Lake Ladoga.

There are also stories about encounters with a huge monster unknown to science that lives in the depths of the lake.
