Description

In the Kyzyl-Zhar gorge, the name of which translates as "red cliff", among the ever-green fir trees there is a tombstone cross in memory of the monks who martyred here - Seraphim and Theognost. This terrible story happened in 1921. The blood of martyrs was shed in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau. So there was a legend about the shadows of the murdered monks who roam the mountains.
