According to the stories of local residents, the place is considered a "UFO crash site". The next night after the UFO crash, a strong roar was heard from the lake for four hours, as if someone was warming up a powerful engine. There was an assumption that such sounds were made by an unknown object that came to rescue a fallen UFO.
