House on Aksakov

At the intersection of the current Aksakov and Marshal Zhukov streets at the beginning of the 20th century there was the largest Assumption Convent in Russia. Most of the buildings were partially destroyed during the revolution, the remaining ones were transferred to the military for living. 

They say that in the house that has survived to this day at the address: Aksakov Street, 16, sometimes at night you can hear the soft ringing of church bells.
