Hessdalen Valley

For 200 years, in the picturesque Hessdallen Valley, locals have been observing the appearance of strange lights, the nature of which even modern scientists cannot explain.

Here you can observe bright short flashes of white lights, large yellow balls that can hover over houses for several hours, or strange lights with a red rim that appear in groups and are always at the same distance from each other.

Old-timers claim that previously the lights of Hessdallen could be observed 15-20 times a year, but since the 80s of the last century, the frequency of their appearance has increased markedly. Interestingly, the lights are not fixed in any way by modern radar installations.
