Golshansky Castle

Golshansky Castle was once one of the official residences of the Sapieha, along with the Ruzhans. For many years, the castle existed literally in ruins - attention was paid to it only in 2018. Now the stone structure is under conservation, its Northern Tower is being restored.

According to legend , two ghosts live here:

• The White Lady appeared after the brutal death of one woman. She was sacrificed during the construction of the Franciscan monastery — this woman was one of the builders' wives. The monastery was built, and the ghost of the girl remained to live in this place. They say that whoever meets her will not be well. The girl is still taking revenge on people for her death.
• A black monk is also a sign of a walled-up person. This time we are talking about a guy who dressed in monastic clothes to meet the princess, Hanna-Gordislava Golshanskaya. The father of the princess, having learned about this story, became angry and ordered the beloved daughter to be walled up in the walls of the castle. Since then, his ghost has not left this place either.
