Ettelbruck

On the river Alzette, on which the Luxembourg city of Ettelbrück is located, according to legend, two ghosts regularly appear: a mysterious white cat and a ghostly woman in white.

An old Luxembourg myth claims that a mysterious white cat haunts everyone who crosses the bridge over the Alzette River on New Year's Eve.

The story of the ghostly woman in white, known as "Waaßerkätchen”:

You can see her at night in white silk clothes. She always follows one route, walking along the Feulen Creek, then turns right and disappears into the night.
