Davelis Cave

Пещера Давелиса, Greece

Description

On the outskirts of Athens, on the southwestern slope of Mount Penteli, there is an amazing cave, unknown to tourists, but well known to locals by the legends, riddles and supernatural phenomena that regularly occur here. This is the cave of Davelis (σπηλιά του VταβλΛη).

The cave has a size of 60 meters deep, 40 meters wide and 20 meters high at the entrance. Then it branches into a whole system of tunnels and caves with underground lakes. One of the tunnels goes deep into the bottom of the mountain and so deep that the locals superstitiously consider it a "gateway to Hell".

The most interesting phenomenon is the gravitational anomaly, when people observed water in a stream flowing up the stream. There was also noticed a strange small sphere rotating at high speed appeared from the car.
