Damn mills

Since 1965, the area where glacial wells formed in the rocks has been popular with travelers from all over the world. "Devil's mills", which are considered a unique and very unusual natural phenomenon, are located in Ascola. In some of them it is customary to throw coins, making a wish. 

"Devil's mills— are natural wells in the rocks that were formed 10 thousand years ago. The grinding process was accompanied by an intimidating rumble and grinding, which is why the "Devil's Mills" were christened that way, and also gave birth to a considerable number of mystical legends around them.
