Castle in the town of Kurnik

The castle in the town of Kurnik, Greater Poland Voivodeship, is famous for the fact that here you can see the ghost of the White Lady – the most famous ghost of Poland.

Rumor has it that every night a woman in white clothes walks around the castle and garden. This woman is the former owner of the Kurnik Castle, Theophilia Potulitskaya, who lived here in the XVIII century. During her lifetime, she made a great contribution to the development of her hometown, improving and building it. Theophilia Potulitskaya turned the castle itself from a defensive structure into a masterpiece of architecture.
