The bride's turn

About 20 years ago, a terrible accident occurred on the road near Gorodets. A wedding was taking place. The car with the newlyweds was returning from the registry office, all joyful, cheerful. At some point, the driver got distracted, the car skidded and was thrown right under the truck. The bride and groom died on the spot.

Since then, every wedding couple from Gorodets has been going to that tree near the accident site to tie a ribbon on it in memory of the newlyweds. But there are also those who come to this place to frolic, take a walk and drink wine. Locals believe that this attitude hurt the spirit of the bride.

And for many years now, at that ill-fated turn in the evening, a ghost in white appears and scares motorists.
