Black Forest

One of the most well-known anomalous zones far beyond the region is considered to be the "Black Forest" in the Zolotukhinsky district of the Kursk region. Someone passes through it quickly and simply enough, someone can fornicate for hours, as they say in "three pines". Many of those who ventured to visit this place complain about zones of abnormal cold, patches on which, even in the summer heat, you want to wear at least a sweater. Travelers often complained of a feeling of anxiety, dizziness, and some ordinary people had a nosebleed. 

In the "Black Forest" it is strongly advised not to stay overnight. Residents of nearby villages admit that with the onset of darkness, forces hostile to man awaken here. They often talk about huge flying creatures that were seen in the forest. At the same time, it was not possible to find their tracks in the daytime, it is unknown where they are hiding. 

At night, if you believe the legends of the region, a traveler can meet a creature with a body similar to a human, but with huge wings, someone assures that they look like the wings of a bat, someone says that they rather resemble the plumage of a huge bird of prey. Several times pillars of light rose into the sky above the forest, sometimes they took the form of bizarre geometric shapes.
