Badajoz Gorge

Many archaeological artifacts and remains of the Guanches were found in the gorge, telling about the life of the indigenous population of the island. For example, several Guanche mummies were found.

The gorge became famous for the fact that some people claimed to have met UFOs, ghosts, glowing balls, unusual winged creatures here, as well as that they heard voices and other sounds.

Local elders say that in 1912, two miners came face to face with glowing creatures. 

The most popular legend is that there is a "door to another dimension" in this gorge.
