The Australian Triangle

An anomalous zone located between the island of Tasmania and the southern tip of mainland Australia, similar to the Bermuda Triangle. Various anomalous phenomena were also observed here, there were frequent cases of aircraft and ships disappearing.

In 1886, one of the first UFO sightings was recorded in this area. 

The Melbourne newspaper "Agrus" published material that a fairly large number of eyewitnesses saw an object in the sky over the strait, resembling a cigar in appearance. During the twentieth century, UFO and aircraft approaches in the airspace were often recorded in this anomalous zone.
