Anyutina Hollow

On the banks of the Panic there are so-called "Bad stones", or "Devil's", or "Witch's".

If, before reaching Maslovka, turn left immediately near the dam road, and drive along the rolled-up primer along the bed of the Panic river, then after 3-4 kilometers you will definitely hit the river dam. On the left there will be a hill on which huge stones are scattered. There are a lot of them here, and the hill seems to be the foot of a mountain after a rockfall.

The place is considered ominous because of an old legend:

a few centuries ago, in a village near the "garden of stones" lived a young couple - Anyutka and Vanya. Everything was going to the marriage, but Ivan's parents looked at a rich bride for him, and "married" contrary to the wishes of their son. Anyutka, out of grief, came to the place of their constant meetings, to these very stones, and rushed down the slope from them. The girl fell to her death, and Ivan was pining for his first love. He often came to the stones, and one day he met his Anyutka there. He rushed to her, but instead of the girl's legs he saw the devil's hooves. Anyutka, because of the sin of suicide, became a werewolf.

Since then, this place has been considered diabolical. It is said that those people who visited these places at night, heard the terrible girl's screams and saw the ghost of a girl with hooves instead of legs.
