Abandoned hospital in Olesno

Parish cemetery in Oleśnie, Podkościele, Olesno, Olesno municipality, Dąbrowa County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland

Description

The hospital in Olesno has a bad reputation. Once there was a children's tuberculosis department with an amazingly high death rate. It was even said that children were sent there to their certain death. Since 1959, it has been haunted by mysterious and unknown ghosts.

It is unknown why exactly the hospital in Olesno was abandoned, but there are many rumors about it in the area.

It is known for certain that this place was abandoned in a hurry, as evidenced by scattered files and medical equipment, which still rots there to this day. It was reported that the old tuberculosis hospital was deadly for most patients. Residents of the surrounding areas suspect that they are now seeking revenge for the harm caused.

Around 1959, strange things began to happen, as can be read in the reports of nurses, which have been preserved to this day. These include the sounds of footsteps, moving small objects, and strange behavior of patients.
