The abandoned city of Skrunda

The town is located 150 kilometers from Riga. On an area of 45 hectares there are 70 abandoned buildings, including residential buildings, schools, barracks, canteens, gyms and two nightclubs.

The place is shrouded in legends. Locals claim that birds do not nest here, sick children are born, and hallucinations are also possible (it seems that a car is driving or a plane is flying, you look around - and there is nothing like that!)
