The alien "Rubber Johnny"

At the beginning of the century, a strange video appeared on the web, where you can see a strange alien in a wheelchair, filmed under mysterious green lighting. His body is badly deformed, he mumbles to himself in a childish voice, and his eyes emit a strange light, and it seems that he has started to go crazy.

Usually the video was called "Confidential video about aliens of NASA USA", "Alien captured by NASA" and the like.

But does NASA have anything to do with this video? Our investigation began with a video published on April 1, 2007, that the case is right to assume that this is a hoax. After searching for more information, the version was confirmed, although a little differently than we expected. We found a website ufo.ikh.tw , where the origin of this video was indicated.

In fact, it is a 2005 British experimental short film/music video "Rubber Johnny", written, directed and produced by By Chris Cunningham. It was released on DVD by Warp on June 20 and July 12, 2005. The last issue included a book about the film containing more than 40 pages.

The film was shot on DV night vision. According to the author, this is "a kind of home movie, and it took three and a half years of weekends to create it."

The film has become very popular and is included in 10 creepy music videos as of 2016, and in the autumn-winter season of 2018, Supreme New York released a sticker with 6 images of aliens representing footage from the film.
